Hi. I’m Kristy.
Hi. I’m Kristy.
I was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie and hold a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Masters of Clinical Science in Occupational Therapy from Western University.
Over the last 22 years, I have been an Occupational Therapist working in a variety of health care settings in Canada and the United States, including acute care, long term care, behavioural health, outpatient, and home health.
As an experienced occupational therapist, I bring a unique point of view to mental health care. I thrive in helping clients experience life to the fullest and become active participants in their lives- rather than riding along in autopilot.
I use a variety of strategies to help clients suffering from things like depression, anxiety, and burnout to find ways to function better, develop routines and positive habits, manage stress, and more easily complete their daily tasks and activities.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and husband at our camp (or cottage if you’re not from Northern Ontario) and in the outdoors- hiking, walking, and snowshoeing. I also enjoy cooking, but spend a lot of time at my daughter’s dance studio living the dance mom life!
